Join the fun with the Upper Palmetto YMCA snowmobile trip!
Enjoy five days and four nights in Yellowstone Park. There are two scheduled trips that offer the same accommodations.
Participants will experience two full days of snowmobiling in the forest surrounding West Yellowstone, Montana. There will be a one-day guided tour into Yellowstone National Park in a snow coach or by snowmobile.
Relish the beautiful scenery, which includes, abundant wildlife, snow covered mountains, and world famous geysers.
Moe Bell, CEO of the Upper Palmetto YMCA, says, “We have been doing this trip for 19 years – last year half of our group were 60+. We will take two groups of 30 – and sign ups have just started – first come, first served on the flights – and we do not anticipate openings after early fall.”
Transportation – Participants will fly round trip from Charlotte to Bozeman, Montana. We will arrive early afternoon and will charter a bus to travel the 75 miles to West Yellowstone, Montana.
Lodging – We will spend four nights at Yellowstone Lodge in West Yellowstone, Montana. The rooms offer two queen beds or one king, TV and an indoor hot tub/pool.
Food – Yellowstone Lodge will provide a daily, complimentary continental breakfast. Since the lodge is without kitchen facilities, all other meals are not included. There are various shops and restaurants to explore nearby.
Snowmobiling – The package covers the rental of snowmobile helmet, boots, gloves, and snow suit. It also includes two days of snowmobiling and one day snow coach tour into Yellowstone National Park. In order to drive a snowmobile, you must be 16 years of age and have a valid drivers license. Any age may ride double with an adult.
